Management Team

Mr. Khaled El Darandaly

Chairman and Managing Director

Khaled graduated from Cairo University in 1982 and started his career at MiBank where he spent 22 years and was the Head of the Retail Banking Division. Khaled then joined Banque Misr as the Head of the Marketing Division. Khaled always had a passion for entrepreneurship and in 2006, started his first construction company, Mabany Misr, as cofounder and managing director. In 2015, Khaled partnered with Eng. Khaled Mahmoud to cofound EGAC. Khaled is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from Harvard University as well as several other banking training programs in Egypt and abroad. Khaled was also a member of the board and treasurer of Al Ahly Sporting Club for 16 years and is currently the Vice President of the Egyptian Football Association.

Eng. Khaled Mahmoud

Deputy Chairman and Managing Director

Khaled is the cofounder and Deputy Chairman of EGAC and has over 30 years of experience in the construction field. Khaled graduated from Cairo University in 1988 with a degree in Civil Engineering and started his career at Taba Construction as an engineer shortly thereafter. Khaled held various roles in the construction field including Project Manager for some of the biggest construction companies in Egypt. In 2005, Khaled started his first company, Cataract Construction Co. and embarked on a career of entrepreneurship. In 2015, Khaled cofounded EGAC with Mr. Khaled El Darandaly with the vision that EGAC would one day grow to become one of the premier integrated contracting companies in Egypt.

Mr. Ahmed El Darandaly

Head of Business Development

Ahmed graduated from George Mason University in 2014 with a degree in Business Management and started his career as a sales consultant in Washington DC shortly thereafter. In 2018, Ahmed joined the finance industry and worked for an investment banking firm in Florida called Insperex as an Associate Vice President covering New York, Boston and Connecticut. Ahmed then worked at iCapital, a leading global fintech company, where he was a Regional Vice President covering California, Nevada, Hawaii and Utah. In 2022, and after 11 years in the United States, Ahmed returned to Egypt as the Head of Business Development of EGAC and the General Manager of Good Deal Trading Co., a sister company of EGAC.
